
About the Chef
Chef Austin Brick always wanted to be a chef when he grew up. At just age, 18, that dream has become a reality. Growing up cooking alongside his father, in addition to going through every cookbook he could get his hands on gave him enough basic knowledge to apply as a prep cook at a local restaurant- Black Kettle. At just age 16, he was working anywhere from 20 to 30 hours a week in the heat of the kitchen.
After nearly 2 years of professional cooking, Austin is excited to share his talent and knowledge directly with his community through Identité by Austin Brick , a one-night only pop-up restaurant. This 8-course tasting menu features various techniques he has learned with ingredients that playfully come together to create Brick's identity as a chef.
Chef Brick has also created an Instagram to display the work he does currently as a cook for the restaurant Black Kettle in Catonsville.
